⭐ How did YOU sleep last night?
Your sleep has a surprisingly large effect on your fitness and wellness results which is why your challenge for the week is …
😴 Logging 7-8 hours of sleep EVERY NIGHT! 😴
💡Getting enough sleep means:
An improved immune system
Healthier weight
Lower risk of serious health problems, like diabetes and heart disease
Less stress and a better mood
More focus & improved mental performance
Improved relationships (because of that better mood!)
Reduced risk of car accidents (tired drivers cause thousands of accidents each year)
And one we don’t think about a lot: when you’re rested you make better everyday decisions.
Some quick steps to a better night sleep:
👉🏾 Schedule in enough time for 7-8 hours of sleep
👉🏾 Avoid alcohol or caffeine for hours before bed
👉🏾 Wind down at least an hour before bedtime – lower the lights and do something relaxing
👉🏾 Make sure your room is cool, dark, and quiet, and
👉🏾 Create a nighttime routine that will signal your body it’s time to sleep.
