The Myth: You need to take Apple Cider Vinegar & invest in the latest 'Superfoods' to Boost your Immune System


The Reality: As convenient as it would be...⠀

Our Immune System does not have an ‘on & off’ switch that a Supplement or ‘Superfood’ will flip.


Our Immune System relies on a complex integration of various cells, organs, proteins & tissues which work together to recognise & neutralise pathogens.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


Our Immune System is not one single cell we can ‘Pump Up’ on demand.⠀⠀⠀


It’s not ‘Designed’ to be ‘Boosted’. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If our Immune System was able to be ‘Boosted’ & work in overdrive it could actually result in us becoming more unwell by damaging our healthy cells & tissues as well, which is what can happen in ‘Autoimmune’ Conditions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Given there are so many complex components to our Immune System...⠀


What can you do to actually ‘Support’ your Immune System during COVID-19 & beyond?⠀

Keep it Simple!


Be kind to yourself & try your best to consistently practice Healthy Behaviours such as: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✅ Eating a Nutrient Dense, Varied & Well Balanced Diet full of Fruit, Vegetables, Wholegrains & Lean Proteins⠀⠀⠀


✅ Keeping Active & Participating in Regular Exercise ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


✅ Getting in approximately 7-9 hours of Quality Sleep each Night⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


✅ Reducing & Managing your Stress Levels &⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


✅ Lastly: Maintaining a degree of scepticism when anyone tries to once again sell you those “Immune Boosting” Supplements 😉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
