Here's are the main reasons why:
👉 Overwhelm/ confusion; so much information, much of it conflicting. How are you supposed to confidently follow a path when you suspect you could be heading in the wrong direction?
👉 Unsustainable approach; the diet might get you results, but you’re dreaming of biscuits and crisps and you’re sick of obsessing over every meal
👉 Lack of support; your family don’t need to lose weight so keep buying the treats. Hubby finds it easy to lose weight and can’t understand why you make such a big deal out of it.
👉 Lack of results despite sticking to the rules; the diet isn't addressing the actual problem (hormones, inflammation & other underlying imbalances)
👉 Lack of time or energy; you can’t spend hours in the kitchen or down the gym. Most diets are not practical.
👉 Pervasive myths: I can’t lose weight because I like to go out for dinner regularly/ I’ve got lots of events coming up (you can still go out). I don’t want to give up my favourite foods (you don’t have to). I don’t want to eat different things than my family (you don’t need to).
👉 Limiting beliefs (beliefs that prevent you from reaching your potential): I’ll never reach my happy weight. I’m not someone who can do this. I’m too dependent on sugar to be able to sustain healthy eating. I’ll get unwanted attention if I lose weight and look good. I’ll just put the weight back on again.
So consider this. What would it be like if you:
Had clarity on exactly how to eat without having to spend hours in the kitchen
Eating that way was enjoyable and didn’t leave you feeling hungry, obsessively tracking or deprived
You had a support system so that you weren’t alone on this journey and could easily overcome challenges.
You saw steady results and felt energised
You felt confident that you’ll succeed
If you had these things, how much more likely is it that you'd succeed?
